5 months!

Our Five Month Old Fischer (please excuse the ginormous spit-up stain)

Well, I'm a little late, but Fischer is 5 months old!! We can't believe how big he's getting. I told Matt the other day that I love this age. He is so happy and fun and learning new things everyday! Here is what the 5th month held for him:

He rolled over!!! (finally)
He loves his jumper..I mean LOVES it. He loves it so much he got a blister on his little toe. He now has to wear socks if he is going to play in his jumper.
He's sleeping 12 hours at night and about 3-4 during the day.
He wears size 3 diapers.
and 6-9 month clothes..sometimes even 9-12 months depending on the brand.
He CANNOT wear shoes, believe me, we've tried. For one, his feet are huge! Two, he keeps his toes curled up so tight, even if the shoes fit, it is impossible to get them on. So we just go without or with socks. Good thing it doesn't get too cold here in the desert.
He has laughed so much this past week. It cracks us up!
He loves to be thrown up in the air. He's our little dare devil.
He loves to be naked!! The second you take his clothes off, he just smiles.
He's getting better at the rice cereal and we'll probably move on to more foods within the next few weeks.
He is sitting up really well. He still falls over from time to time, but he can sit upright without using his hands as support.
And that's our Fischer at 5 months old! We got off to a rocky start, but he has turned into the best baby! Of course, he still has his days, but most of the time it doesn't take much to make him smile or even laugh. We are having so much fun with him!

It's a little blurry, but the best picture of the 3 of us after church last Sunday. Or, I should say, after the nursery at church last Sunday...Fischer wouldn't let us leave him there so we stayed hoping he will have a better experience next time.

Our little Red Raider on gameday.

Going for a walk on a "chilly" day in Hobbs.
