I can't believe it's August already. August means the end of summer, our 4th anniversary, "school" for Fischer, and 3 months until Piper arrives. Time is truly flying!
Since we're not exactly sure when we'll be moving to Perryton, Matt and I have gone ahead and started on Piper's nursery. Matt painted (twice...oops) and just has to put up crown molding. I made Piper's sign since that may be the only decoration I get a chance to do.
I'd like to do something on one wall, but if we move, I'm not going to worry about it. Fischer will get a new (cheaper) crib that turns into a toddler bed and hopefully I will get around to repainting my old dresser for him. Piper will get Fischer's furniture, so really the only major thing we need for her is bedding! So much easier this time around! Hopefully that theme will continue!
Fischer starts Noah's Ark at the Baptist Church at the end of this month. It's basically a Mother's Day out twice a week for a few hours. I'm a little nervous/sad/guilty but I know it will be good for both of us.
Other than that, we have just been hanging out having fun. Last night we went to the Lea County Fair. Fischer saw goats, pigs, cows, rabbits and chickens. He kept calling the rabbits "kitties" (ki-ki). We ate the usual fair food and then called it a day. It was SO hot!
We've also been playing with Fischer's new pickup and spending lots of time outside and in the water.
We're not ready for summer to be over!

Hopefully you'll have a place to hang Piper's sign soon! It is really cute. It sounds like she's going to be here very soon.
